Acceptable-use policy

BrandBid is open to lawful websites serving New Zealand. It is not a route around safety, advertising, or consumer-protection obligations.

Not accepted

• Illegal goods, services, or instructions.
• Malware, phishing, credential theft, or deceptive downloads.
• Pornography or sexual services.
• Hate, extremist, or targeted harassment content.
• Impersonation or misleading government affiliation.
• Unlicensed or prohibited financial and medical claims.
• URL shorteners, invite links, or redirects intended to hide the final destination.
• Content that infringes intellectual property or is otherwise harmful to visitors.

Investigation and action

BrandBid may validate submissions automatically, review reports, hide a listing immediately while investigating, and then restore, remove, or block it. Actions are recorded in an immutable moderation and audit trail.

Appeals and ownership claims

Send evidence and the relevant destination to moderation@brandbid.nz. Domain owners may challenge listing content. BrandBid may request proof of domain control.
